Two brothers, one cousin and a best mate with a big head... Happy days.

  • Hoodoo Nation

    Hoodoo Nation

We liked 'Hoodoo' from the Muse song, and looked into it and thought the meanings were appropriate for a creative group- Hoodoo (in the folk magic sense) has cross-continent roots and soaks up aspects of different traditions, cultures and religions. Their is no formal heirachy, it is not reserved for specialists and practicioners are often nomadic. Hoodoo's emphasis is on an individual's power, and the aim is to use this in conjuntion with external powers to improve daily lives. I also saw the quote 'in hoodoo extensive use is made of herbs and potions'... which just about sealed it.

  • Uber Room

    Uber Room

The current line up of Geoff Murphy - guitar/vox, Scott Beecroft – bass, Chris Cojeen - guitar/vox, Steve Leach – drums and Jack Wolter - guitar/vox incarnated in 2010. • Maldune

    Maldune

    facebook page

Maldune formed in 1994 whilst still at school - they thought it would be a good idea. The core members were Gaz, Denzil and Nash. Whilst many bands on the Island have formed and broken up in this time, Maldune have gone from strength to strength. With the recent addition of Cowley to the band, the sound has (obviously) increased, but this has also allowed the boys to move in a new direction.

  • Mollag

    The Mollag Band

The Mollags are celebrating their 21st birthday this year. We write and arrange most of our own stuff. Songs of social and political comment, as well as love songs and songs of every day occurrence (some Manx some English). At present there are seven of us in the band with a wide variety of instruments and vocal arrangements. We represented the Island at the inter-celtic festival in L'Orient last year, and are off to Lowender Peran in Cornwall later this year
